DESCRIPTION:South Asian Marrow Initiative (SAMI) \nEvery three minutes\, someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer like leukemia. SAMI is a non-profit organization that aims to bridge the gap for South Asian groups that are under-represented in the stem-cell registry. \nSouth Asians only account for 3% of the entire registry\, making it difficult for South Asian patients to find a matching donor. Due to this\, hundreds of thousands of deaths could have been prevented. \n ! Help save a life by enlisting in the registry !
